Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to join our assisted living team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Provide information regarding the community and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
  • Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and ensure building security protocols are followed.
  • Assist with clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with resident and family communications.
  • Maintain office supplies and reception area organization.
  • Support management and department staff with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to interact respectfully with older adults, family members, and healthcare professionals.
